5 Amazing November Events Not To Miss in San Diego

San Diego is a vibrant city with lots of current events, most times of the year.

If you are looking for ways to make the most out of your time at the San Diego State University and surrounding area, it’s essential to get out and explore all that the community has to offer. November is a fantastic time to do so. If you can pull yourself away from the beaches for a bit, there’s much to see and do here this month. Here are a few recommendations to get started. Wild Horses San Diego

November 6 – 7

Wild Horses San Diego is a two-day country festival that you’ll want to visit each year you’re here. It happens at Petco Park and draws a lot of people. This year, there’s an extensive lineup that includes Ryan Bingham, Paul Cauthen, Nikki Lane, Riddy Arman, and numerous other performers. These are subject to change. The event may sell out. For those who have yet to attend a country festival like this, now is the perfect time to do so. Chances are good there will be tickets available locally.

Viejas Outlet Center Ice Rink

November 12 – December 31

Check out the largest indoor ice skating rink in this area of California. It is located in the Viejas Casino and Resort. Keep in mind that the resort is closed, but it will open for the skating rink for the holiday season unless plans change due to the pandemic. This is a fantastic event and one that is worth attending even if you have never ice skated before in your life. There are many holiday lights, ample entertainment each night, and even fun games. It costs about $17 for a 90-minute session, but each person will have a lot of fun! That includes the skates you need, too. For those looking for a way to spend a date night or want to hang out with friends, go skating.

Fleet Week is a unique chance to observe and visit warplanes and ships.

Fleet Week San Diego 2021

For those who want to do something a bit more meaningful and exciting, consider checking out Fleet Week San Diego. The event takes place each year. It brings numerous warplanes and ships, all of which are displayed. There is a lot to love about this if you love flying or history in general. It is also an excellent way to celebrate the military service people. You can take ship tours at no cost. The entire event is open to the public. It all takes place at Embarcadero Marina Park South.

Carlsbad Fall Village Faire

The Carlsbad Fall Village Faire is an outdoor, fun experience that brings people from around the state. This is a large, one-day street fair like no other. There is a lot of food, drink, and merriment to participate during the event. There is no cost to attend either. The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce sponsors it. This event brings 750 vendors from all sectors, from international food to antiques. You will find a lot of art here and artisans are showcasing what they’ve designed. The event does draw a lot of people, but it can be an excellent way to explore the local area. This is one of them for those looking for current events that represent the area’s best. SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration

When was the last time you had the chance to visit SeaWorld? Here’s a different way to do so – SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration. This is a family-friendly event that is sure to bring a smile to your face. It takes place in the Mission Bay and Beaches neighborhood and has become a special event. The good news is that it goes on for more than a month, so you can get all of your friends together to attend. You can still see the animals and learn about marine conservation. There’s lots of fun dining and shopping, lots of characters to greet, and lights everywhere. It is truly a mesmerizing experience for those who get to attend each year.
